Since there is no light coming from my window, I wake up late. Too late to do anything. I wanted to get some work done, but there is so much rain.

I hate this rain. It makes me sullen and lazy.

I wish I had yellow rain boots and an umbrella to keep me dry. I would go for a walk.

You know...
It's not even the rain that bothers me.
It's the monochrome. Inside & out.

I will not wear black today, and I will make the best of it.

If it rains tomorrow, I'll clean my room.
If it rains wednesday, I'll decorate.
If it rains thursday, I will paint.

I find it endearing when he tells me stories about trying to buy wine for us.
He says he doesn't know what he's doing. I think it's just fine.
I like to listen to him talk about things I don't know anything about.
He likes to listen to me talk about art.
We play word games together.
We'll do alright this time with a little less push.

Yesterday I won him with dinner and a mediocre documentary on competitive scrabble.

Today, maybe we can order pizza and read to eachother.

It's nice to be home.
